TTouch Workshop

10/18/2008

pam training Our first TTouch workshop went really well. The participants generally have never heard about TTouch before, and came mostly out of curiosity.

Pam used different dogs to show the technique, and everybody was impressed to see how well the dogs responded. It is easy to learn, and practically anybody can do it at home. And it is a good way for a dog and an owner to spend quality time together.

05/31/2008

People liked the demo so much that everybody wanted to try for themselves. So we asked one of the instructors from the Federation to come to the school and teach a workshop for us. Pepper Guzman has tons of experience with all kinds of training, it was good to have her here. Two hours went by so fast!

We had this wonderful presentation by Wendy Ely and Sally Kirschenman from the Canine Freestyle Federation. It was our first introduction to this fascinating new doggy sport. Dogs' attention on their handlers was unwavering, and they looked like they were having fun.

Congratulations to these beautiful girls!

Pilgrim came to us a few months ago. Although exuberantly friendly with people, she was leash aggressive and very noisy around other dogs. We don?t think she?s barked her last, but she has much improved.
