Excellent Dog training school was founded in 1991 by Armand Baily. As a pet owner, breeder of Dachshunds, she was training her own dogs and showing them in Conformation and Obedience Trials. Some of her Dobermans were trained as Assistance dogs for visiting nursing homes. She has been teaching obedience classes for over 30 years.
Today we strive to make our clients, both people and dogs, feel at home. Every dog in class receives personal attention.
Excellent Dog was featured in Washingtonian Magazine as one of the best schools in the area. Its philosophy at all levels is positive reinforcement and behavior modification using the clicker training. This produces a responsive, willingly obedient dog.
